It all began in Angers, at the heart of the world’s seed production hub, where the Graines BERTRAND adventure took root. Founded by two visionary brothers, the company made the bold choice from the start to specialize in flower seeds, leaving behind the more traditional vegetable seed markets..
For over 75 years, we have been cultivating a unique expertise, recognized both in France and internationally for its quality. In 2016, our story entered a new chapter with the integration into the Dutch group EconSeeds, strengthening our local roots while opening up new export markets.

Now, Graines BERTRAND is proudly supported by EconSeeds, producer and distributor of our seeds, maintaining the same quality standards established over 60 years ago. With our recognized expertise, we offer our customers a rich and reliable selection of over 2,500 varieties, primarily sourced from our local production in the Angers region, and complemented by the best reproducible varieties.
Every step, from cultivation to ready-to-sow seeds, is carefully controlled. Our technicians closely monitor the crops to ensure robust flower seeds that meet the highest standards of quality, diversity, and sustainability.

Depuis 2016, Graines BERTRAND est une marque du groupe néerlandais EconSeeds. Par l’acquisition de notre entreprise, EconSeeds a choisi de relocaliser en France l’essentiel de sa production, renforçant ainsi notre ancrage local dans la région angevine. Cette nouvelle dynamique a également permis à Graines BERTRAND de s’ouvrir à de nouveaux marchés à l’export.
